It applies entrepreneurship concepts to the transferring of ‘specialist know-how into value enabling product, service or organization for the benefit of people.

Example
The main part (up to 80%) of this kind of thesis is an analysis of a novel development in an engineering discipline (nanoparticles, a signaling system, new material or compound, etc.). Including an analysis of how it may create value added benefits through new product, processes or organization for the benefit of people is the entrepreneurship part.
