Recent and ongoing research by researchers at DTU explores how business can play a critical role in the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
“Inspired by the outcome of two research studies at DTU Entrepreneurship, we are currently exploring whether organizational factors such as younger board of directors or higher share of female directors also influence entrepreneurship and innovation for the SDGs”, says Francesco Rosati, Associate Professor in Sustainable Entrepreneurship and Innovation, DTU Entrepreneurship.
In the video below Francesco Rosati elaborates on what his research project is about and how it can impact the future.

About research in sustainable entrepreneurship and innovation
We study the contribution of entrepreneurship and innovation to the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Particularly, we investigate the individual, firm, industry, and regional determinants of sustainable entrepreneurship and innovation, and the regulatory stimuli for entrepreneurship and innovation to achieve the SDGs. We translate our research into practice by providing knowledge, tools and approaches unleashing the power of entrepreneurship and business model innovation to achieve the SDGs.
